Antinanco or Anti is a young woman of about 21 years of age. And is part of the atikamekw tribe. They feel it is their duty to take care of the Wildlife in the sinking sands, due to people attacking the Sand Whales for their blubber, and arcane properties.
Antinanco feels she should be called the Watcher rather than the Keeper (as was officially the name given to her)
as she does more watching and staying clear of the Whales.
After helping the party with some particularly nasty desert creatures she tells the party where to head to, to get to town.
